Larry was the co-founder of Executive Appointments in 1985, and is a Director of the company, based in Auckland. He offers an in-depth background in senior and upper middle management level recruitment consulting, psychometric assessment and appraisal work conducted across a broad range of private sector industries, Central and Local Government.

Larry commenced his career as a Secondary School Teacher then went on to work for several years in the entertainment and transport industries. In 1980 he joined a leading major HR consultancy firm, where he progressed to General Manager, while diversifying his recruitment consulting experience to cover Senior Management, Sales & Marketing, Accounting & Finance, and Technical appointments.

Throughout his extensive career with Executive Appointments, Larry has enjoyed long standing relationships with clients with whom he has partnered to build successful management teams.

Larry holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts Degrees in Social Sciences from Auckland University. He has also completed a Secondary Teachers Diploma and a postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management. He has been a full member of the New Zealand Institute of Management Consultants (CMC) since 1987 and spent six years as a Council member of Variety, the Children’s Charity.

Larry also enjoys recognition as an accomplished professional singer and musician.
